1. Yes, I would try to find a flat mate through this way. It much easier to go to a given place and talk with lots of people in hope of finding the right one than writing advisements placing them in newspapers or on the Internet. 2. It’s hard to say, because it’s depends on personality of flat mates. Some people like parties and mess others feel comfortable in the quiet house. A good communication between them can be really difficult because of different likes or characters. Lodgers have to have some features in common. 3. I live with Z KIM MIESZKASZ ZAPOMNIALAM IMIENIA. (I live with Marcin). At the beginning wasn’t easy to get used to new conditions especially to a small space of let’s say privacy and a hard bed but at the present I am accustomed to the living conditions. 4. Sam napisz JAKIE sa zalety I wady mieszkania z kimś. Nigdy nie mieszkałam wiec ciężko mi jest cos powiedzieć. 5. This is helpful to discover some features about a stranger, e.g. if someone likes mess it can mean that he or she is disorganized or in contrast if someone has a really clean room can mean a meticulous person or scrupulous one. If in a room is lots of colours and photos or paintings it can suggest an optimistic and romantic nature as well as creative one if there is number of things done by yourself. 6. Of course not. It is said that intuition is the best way to know what kind of person he or she is and partially I agree the first impression is important but it can be deceptive as in the case of my friend who at first seemed to be a cynic one but after longer conversation he turned to be very friendly. 7. I would like to travel around the world and see all the beauty nature of the world and foremost to see a Great Coral Reef with all the power of colourfness and varieties. 8. Absolutely, I’m not influenced by such commercial spots which are present everywhere in newspapers radio television and billboards. It’s very annoying because it’s too many of them. For me the best way to know of something is good or not is the advice of friend or the intuition. 9. It depends how silly things it’s meant but I can dress up and look completely stupid but it doesn’t matter or GLUPIE PYTANIE 10. They should give it people seriously sick , e.g. cancer or allocate it for a specialist and modern equipment which is so need in our hospitals. There so many people in need and animals as well so it’s hard to decide which should be done first and which later. 11. It doesn’t bring happiness but help it. Happiness it is a good health, a real love and devoted friends and family who is always with you when you need them the most. These things you can’t buy but when you have and you are poor money will help you to buy medicine when someone is ill or buy toys and food and other appliances to live on a decent level of life with your family. 12. I think that unemployment is the most serious social problem in Poland nowadays, especially among young people. Many graduates can't find a job, so they decide to emigrate abroad. Next most serious social problem in Poland is alcoholism. Alcohol is also a common „cure” for family problems, lack of money, professional failures, depression, loneliness or boredom. It’s usually the beginning of the addiction. Unemployment and problems with alcohol are very strongly connected, because in most cases it’s the effect of being without work. Economics in our country should constantly develop, so there would be places in the working environment for number of unemployed. Unfortunately, the current situation is completely different form the expected one. The development of the important branch cannot be observed in our country. Solution: Government should provide more training and education to the unemployed or support industries in order to try to save jobs. 13. Personally, I didn’t observed this phenomena, but maybe I’m lucky that I’ve got great friends and the environment which is around me it’s fine enough to say that I never participate and see any greater violence that fights between guys but not serious enough to go to hospital by participants. 14. It depends on the person who is doing it and the situation or the seriousness of committing the crime, e.g. a person who drove recklessly for the first time can get a traffic fine and the kind of punishment can be enough but for the person who do it more than twice should maybe something more than just a traffic fine not big enough to stop him from do it again. 15. Use compact fluorescent light bulbs: It is true that these bulbs are more expensive, but they last much longer and they can save energy and in the long term your electricity bill would be reduced. Donate: You have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of. If they are still usable, give them to someone who needs them. You may also choose to give them to associations. These associations may sell them and collect a little money. Not only will you protect the environment, but you will also contribute to a good cause. Turn off your devices: When you do not use a house device, turn it off. For example, if you don't watch TV, turn it off. Turn off the light when you leave a room (even if you intend to return.) It's an easy habit to take up which will help you save a lot of money. Walk or cycle: Driving is one of the biggest causes of pollution. If you want to use your car, ask yourself the following question: do I really need my car? Walk or use your bike if the journey is a short one. Detergent: Follow the recommended dose of detergent to wash your clothes or dishes. leaky faucets: Watch leaky faucets, which can cause a significant increase in the the water bill. An average of 120 liters of water can be wasted due to a dripping faucet. Rainwater: Think of recovering rainwater. This water can be used for different purposes; Recycling segregation of rubbish :plastic, white and colorful glass or paper. 16. People will always complain about privacy invasion, but the matter of the fact is these cameras are placed in the public. They are not invading on your private lives, not in your homes, and most do not have audio surveillance. When you are in a public area, there are police officers that monitor people, so everyone is on their best behavior. The police are using this technology instead, as a surrogate for more policemen. They are installed for your protection. If you have nothing to hide, then there is nothing to worry about. 17. Yes, but only in the situation when women as well men work the same job and they have similar experience and abilities which is hard to achieve because in the case of women their career path is often interrupted by bringing up children, so it’s for women to maintain the place of work, but it doesn’t change the fact that if they are as good workers as men should be paid the same. 18. Yes, for lots of families it’s hard to afford to maintain a child or even children while their staying out of a home town. There are often cases when a child is very talented and possesses a passion to develop but it must be dropped on a behalf of going to work to help parents financially. 19. Level of education, distance from my town and opinions of other people. 20. School education in school but the education taken from people and situation is outside the classroom. By saying it I mean that the basic and theoretical knowledge is given by school but the practical one is very often learnt by own way of tries and mistakes. People learn from their mistakes, by situations which happens to them and by observing behavior of others. 21. The most famous stereotype, which unfortunately became a kind of proverb is “to drink (alcohol) like Pole”, the next stereotype concerns hospitability and being sociable and it is said as well that: “Pole can do everything well if he only wants to”. Polish people are handy and skillful then. Of course, it cannot be understood in the way of thinking that everyone likes to drink much or being skillful. Everyone is different, so he or she should be judged separately. 22. Of course is it. One of reasons of being overweight is spending too much time in front of screen and the same living in the own world. Social games enable people to meet new people, talk to them and keep a good physical condition. They open people towards others while skype talking doesn’t develop interpersonal skills that much as a real conversation. 23. For example people almost cannot live without their mobile phones. We will not be able to be out of touch for even a few minutes. Another point is the Internet. Now any information is available to anyone who has a computer and an internet connection. People today use technological devices many times a day from microwaving a meal to watching football. 24. I can go everywhere where is lots of green, sun and quietness so where I can be surrounded by nature. I’d like also open a window and see lake or sea surrounded by trees and some hills. 25. Firstly, I recommend you to spend a couple of days in the beautiful city Sandomierz. It is an old city located by the Vistula River. There are many historic buildings, the unique market square, the amazing cathedral and a lot of narrow streets, which create the breathtaking atmosphere. Moreover, there is a very famous tourist route, from which tourists can see many magnificent views. The other beautiful city in Poland is Krakow. It is one of the oldest Polish towns and it is located about 160 km west from Sandomierz. Krakow belongs to the most amazing towns in Poland. There are always a lot of travelers and tourists from different part of the world. There are also a lot of interesting and unique sights to visit. The Stołowe Mountains, part of Middle Sudety Mountains which are structured from plated rocks, making overall amazing impression. This is the only mountains of its kind in Poland. 26. I agree. By travelling we possess knowledge about different cuisine, mentality of other people as well as their culture. 27. No, I can’t. I prefer reading books to online ones. My eyes are not so tired when I read a paper version and in such type of books I can underline important sentences. If I’m interested in something I look for a book which is the subject of my interest. 28. I hope not. Thanks to books our range of words is much more sophisticated and spelling can be improved also by reading books-we don’t have to even know grammar rules to write correctly. A book is not the as film, e.g. there lots of films based on books, e.g. Władca Pierścieni or Harry Potter which were inspired by books. The main difference between them is that not the same by introducing changes- either some parts of book are cut or added to the screen version of book. 29. It’s hard to say, because it really depends on the individual and how they treat it. It may or may not influence them. To my mind, most people treat it as way of relax and losing touch with the reality for a few moments. 30. It’s rather impossible. I don’t know people who don’t regret something. Personally, I think that it’s no point in regretting doing or not doing something, it doesn’t change a current situation but it makes to feel miserable. The best way to explain it it’s just to say: “It was meant to be”(to chyba znaczy, że : Tak Mialo Być).
