Welcome to the world of Solid Edge, the next-generation mechanical design software that sets a new standard for

Requirements:
Minimum System Configuration:
· An Intel Pentium III or IV, or AMD Athlon processor-based PC
· Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 or later, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98 Second Edition, or
Windows ME
· 128 MB RAM
· Minimum Resolution: 1024x768, 65K colors
· CD-ROM (local or network) for installation
· Disk space required for installation: 500 MB
Recommended System Configuration:
Windows 2000, Windows XP, Intel Pentium III, Intel Pentium 4, or AMD Athlon processor, 512 MB or more RAM,
OpenGL Accelerator with 65K colors.
Setup Instructions:
• Contact your Solid Edge sales representative for an evaluation license.
• Install Solid Edge on your computer. The Installation Assistant will start automatically when you insert
the CD if you have Auto-Run enabled.
• Replace the existing selicense.dat file located in the \Program Files\Solid Edge V12\Program folder with
the file delivered by your Solid Edge sales representative.
When you are ready to purchase Solid Edge and move into the next generation of mechanical design productivity,
call the EDS office nearest you. Contact your local Solid Edge reseller for technical support.
